Father stressed as son jumps on couch

Sorry, can't do it!

Spouse won't play one on one with our son because it lowers testosterone. Sharing research Just as you read, my spouse read somewhere that spending time with our child lowers testosterone. So now he doesn't play with our child ever. And now I feel this massive burden to be the one giving our child undivided attention. How do I navigate this?
Goodbye Tobyseeya1 You navigate your way to a divorce lawyer, that's how. What a sad excuse for a man.

MonteBurns Yeah but then she's gonna wind up like my sister. Well, what my sister fears. Split custody and the kids neglected during dads time.

VariousExplorer8503 You think this dad is going to fight for time? It might lower his testosterone!

OnlyOneUseCase Very convenient. Why have kids if you have to look for crazy excuses to not have to spend any time with them? Let me guess, carry on the family name?

_ImAlwaysHereForYou_ That's the dumbest excuse I've ever heard in my life. Impressive, I'll give him that.

LCDRformat He's layers of dumb. 1. It's obviously not true 2. If it were true, do you really value your testosterone levels more than your son? 3. If it were true and you did value testosterone levels more than your son, why did you have a son? Not to mention it's probably just an excuse to get out of being a dad and he probably goes into the next room and plays FIFA for hours (sedentary, also lowers testosterone).

mormagils Nothing says "I am a big man who does what I want" more than someone monitoring their hormone levels and being deathly afraid of anything that might change them.

dewihafta Just saying, a good portion of "play" involves competition. What's more testosteroney than that?
